A hilarious bug in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has been turning Miles into a web-slinging street light and a brick.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales released for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 last week, and while many have been having a lot of fun with the game, some lucky few have been experiencing some laugh-out loud bugs.

Two videos have been shared on social media, showing what seems to be the same side-mission. Uploaded by YouTube channels Zet Q and YongYea, the videos show Miles as inanimate objects – a street lamp and a brick – soaring through New York City.
In the first extended gameplay clip after Miles Morales fulfils his role as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, Miles is offered a haircut and some free food as he’s a “growing boy.” Interestingly, the bug means Miles is a street lamp in the sequence.
Spider-Lamp then web-swings through the streets of Brooklyn! Check out both videos below.
In the second reported bug in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Miles is turned into a brick a.k.a…Spider-Brick?
In a clip uploaded to Twitter by creator Rob Sheridan, the gamer revealed that his game “has broken in a spectacular way. I collided with a wall and became… Spider-Brick.”
The swinging and talking brick can also be seen enjoying the sites of Brooklyn.
However those of you that may be looking forward to seeing Spider-Brick or street light Miles Morales in combative action, you will be sadly disappointed.
Sheridan said in a follow-up tweet: “I tried to start a fight as Spider-Brick and he turned into a white cube and crashed the game. Now I’m just boring old Spider-Man again. Thanks for the memories, Spider-Brick.”
Personally I’ve only spent a short time playing Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales on PS4 and I’ve unfortunately not encountered these bugs for myself.
It also seems that these bugs are happening on the PlayStation 5 version of the game.
