A recent gameplay video posted on the Hogwarts Legacy social media pages gives us a hint at the game’s spellbinding puzzles.
The short gameplay clip in question shows the main protagonist collecting a scroll found on the grounds of Hogwarts. The scroll appears to “uncover ancient and challenging puzzles.”
The clip then shows a mirror that opens up a secret passage in what looks like the Grand Staircase area. Despite only being 13 seconds, this brief clip gives us a glimpse at some of the secrets that we’ll be able to discover at the legendary School of Witchcraft.
Hogwarts Legacy is set over 100 years ago



Hogwarts Legacy is set in the late 1800s, years before the Harry Potter franchise and Fantastic Beasts. You will play as a new student starting in their fifth year of Hogwarts.

Hogwarts Legacy is an ambitious open-world game that lets you explore the School of Witchcraft and beyond.
Players will not only get to choose their Houses such as Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin but also create their own characters, craft spells, and form friendships with in-game decisions that will directly impact the story.
