Horizon Forbidden West DLC will apparently be announced soon. That’s at least according to industry leaker, The Snitch.
If you’re familiar with the antics of The Snitch, the Twitter user won’t outright reveal leaks. Instead, they will tweet very cryptic clues that might hint at a certain possibility. So, with any rumours, we should take them with a pinch of salt. Especially when some are left to interpretation.
The Snitch is very reliable
However, that being said, The Snitch has proved to be very reliable in the past. Previously The Snitch has correctly predicted announcements for Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 – Reunion, The Last of Us: Part 1, Alone in the Dark and more.
What’s with the Horizon Forbidden West DLC rumour?
An image was tweeted by The Snitch featuring an image of a map with the western coast of the United States. This is an area in which Horizon Forbidden West is located. Furthermore, there’s an object which looks like a Focus. A Focus is small earpiece technology used in the game to provide data on the past world.
Obviously, as previously stated, we must take all rumours with a pinch of salt. However, two things are worth considering again, The Snitch has proved reliable on several occasions.
What’s more, its predecessor, Horizon Zero Dawn had its own DLC, The Frozen Wilds. So, it should come as no surprise if Forbidden West gets the same treatment too.
When could the Horizon Forbidden West DLC be revealed?
At this time, we can only guess. We could speculate that it might be revealed at The Game Awards tomorrow. However, Sony could reveal DLC at one of its own State of Play streaming events.
