Animal Crossing Player Accurately Rebuilds Zelda Village

A dedicated Nintendo fan has carefully recreated the Mabe Village from The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening in Animal Crossing. It’s impressive!

There are so many Animal Crossing: New Horizon fans who recreate amazing things in the game. Just yesterday I wrote about an ACNH player who recreated the Super Smash Bros team. There was a player who built Bowser’s castle. A YouTuber even recreated Courage the Cowardly Dog! It’s a versatile game, with lots of options for customisation – and to be honest, we’ve been waiting a long time for a big update. It’s finally coming! But these fan recreations give purpose and freshness to the game while we wait.

The latest fan to join the fun has built an amazing recreation of the Mabe Village from the Legend of Zelda. It’s absolutely fantastic.

Everything – from the position of the butterflies to her character’s outfit is dead on. Mel should be very proud of her work.

It makes sense that these two games would mesh well together. Both have cute, rounded characters and both take place on islands. As the game’s description says:

“Buffeted by a storm, Link washes ashore a mysterious tropical island with many strange inhabitants.”

As long as Link doesn’t make me go round looking for pieces of his mobile phone…
