The Bully 2 rumours have been coming hard and fast over the last couple of months, with multiple sources claiming they know someone who knows someone who knows someone who knows something about the game’s development.
Last year, a leaked casting call suggested that Rockstar was casting to revive the beloved IP, and that’s when we started to get some supposed information from people ‘close’ to the developers.
First came a supposed Rockstar developer who commented on a YouTube video and claimed Bully 2 was happening.
We then heard via Reddit that yes, a sequel is happening, and that it’ll star protagonist Jimmy in college rather than in school.
And THEN we all saw that Rockstar threw a cheeky Easter egg into its latest GTA Online update, though that could simply be a nod to the game, or even a reference to the rumours of the sequel’s existence.
Things started to get particularly innnteresting when Polygon covered the Easter egg in an article that featured the URL: “bully-sequel-announced-fall-2020-news-embargoed-do-not-publish.” Though the page went on to claim this was a joke, it’s definitely raised a lot of eyebrows amongst ever-hopeful Bully enthusiasts.
Still with me? Good. Now that we’re all caught up on past Bully rumours we can look at the latest, which comes from YouTube channel Swegta, in a video which claims that a Rockstar Games inside source has confirmed Bully 2.
Swegta says that the game is being developed for next-gen consoles, and is expected to launch in 2020, something that ComicBook.com is also backing via its own unnamed sources.
Yet another Rockstar Games insider, Yan2295, has also stated that Bully is “the next R* game after RDR 2.”
As I said on GTAForums yesterday (https://t.co/krcij4Ej25), Bully 2 is in development and is supposed to be the next R* game after RDR 2.

Despite the now-overwhelming number of people who’re claiming Bully 2 is happening, take it all with a pinch of salt for now.
Hopefully we’ll get an announcement from Rockstar Games to put this to bed once and for all!
