Drake Still Owes Ninja a Large amount of Money After Losing a Bet

Back in March Drake and Ninja broke the Twitch Streaming record for most concurrent viewers watching a stream when Drake joined Ninja for a few games of Fortnite.

Over 600,000 people tuned in to watch the duo (and a few more of Drakes friends) play the excessively popular game. These numbers were helped by the fact that Drake Tweeted out Ninja’s Stream to his 36 million followers. He also spelled Fortnite wrong but I think we can let him off for that.

During the stream Ninja was the last one left alive on their team and Drake said that he would donate $5000 (which is around £3750) if Ninja won the game. Ninja then went ‘full tryhard’ and managed to pick up the win fairly convincingly.

Turns our that Drake never donated Ninja the money but Ninja isn’t at all bothered. After all he is making an insane amount of money a month anyway. Ninja tweeted this in response to a tweet talking about the donation.

Ninja also has over 120,000 subscribers on Twitch. These may have taken a dive recently (here is why) but it is still incredibly high.

When Ninja was asked about Drake and their friendship on stream here is what he had to say:

“Is he gonna buy my next line of Ninja merch? Or my Ninja headband? Probably not. I feel like Drake saw that I was up-and-coming in the gaming scene, and he thought it would be a perfect way to just tap into another source of viewers by playing with me.”

Maybe Next time we can see Ninja and Drake play PUBG. After all it takes less skill to play that Fortnite – according to Ninja anyway.
