A local TV station has once again been fooled by another Red Dead Redemption 2 screenshot, mistaking the photo for a real-life location.
A Reddit user shared a rather nice screenshot of some Red Dead Redemption 2 scenery (which should come as no surprise because this is one visually stunning game).

While most of us that have played this game may find its various lush locations instantly recognisable, that’s not the case for the rest of the world. For the untrained eye, it’s an easy mistake to confuse game screenshots for real-life photos.
The image shared on Reddit reads: “My daughter [REDACTED] sent in another picture into our local TV station here in Oregon from Red Dead Redemption 2 for their ‘Out & About’ segment…and once again they fell for it!”
Ayeeeeeeeeee from r/RedDeadOnline
To be fair to the ones pranked, if you do not play Red Dead Redemption 2, at quick glance you can see why it would be easy to be fooled.
After all, the environments do have a sense of realism to them – especially on high-end PCs – and the game is based upon several real-world states and cities.
This is not the first time that unsuspecting victims have fallen for this prank. Last year screenshot from Red Dead Redemption 2 was shared to a travel subreddit, claiming to be a real-life photo overlooking a stunning forest.

If you have plans of getting in on this prank then you might be in luck, because according to a recent retail leak, Red Dead Redemption 2 might be coming to new-gen consoles.
The rumoured Red Dead Redemption: The Outlaws Collection will reportedly not only feature an enhanced RDR2 on PS5 and Xbox Series X, but also a full remake of the 2010 Red Dead Redemption.
